Inserting a Number Sequence
While it may seem imposing at first, it really is quite simple to insert a number sequence in MediaFACE 5.
Please follow the 10 steps below and you'll be on your way to printing your tickets.
1. Once your have selected your ticket, go to Insert > Predefined Text.
2. When the predefined text window appears, choose "Sequence" where it reads "Fields".
3. Choose "Serial Number" where it reads "Values".
4. Place a check mark where it reads "Enhanced Mode".
5. You will now see a function below "Field Code". This will look like gibberish, but here is how to interpret it.
{Serial{1,100,1,1,'no'}}
Serial - This indicates you are creating a sequence with a serial number. You will not change this.
1 - This indicates the sequence Start position. Your sequence will begin with whatever number is here.
100 - This indicates the sequence End position. Your sequence will end with whatever number is here.
1 - This indicates what number in the sequence to begin printing with. Ex - If you put the number 26 here,
the sequence will begin printing at 26.
1 - This indictes the Increment Step of the sequence. This is how the sequence is counted. Ex - if 1 is
used, the sequence will count by 1 (1,2,3...). If 2 is used, the sequence will count by 2 (1,3,5...).
no - This indicates if you want a zero fill on the sequence. To include a zero fill, replace 'no' with 'yes'
Ex - a sequence with a zero fill will look something like this 0001, 0002, 0003...
 6. Once you have entered your data, click on "Insert". The number sequence will be placed on the ticket.
7. When you are ready to print, click on the File > Print to open the Printer Plug In.
8. Choose the paper stock and click on the labels you want to print to
9. Choose the number of copies you want printed
10. Click on the "Print" button
